Tillex is a “data controller” and we ensure that personal data will be processed in accordance with all data protection laws.

The legal basis for our processing of personal data follows from:

  • Data Protection Act article 6 (1), paragraph a, when the data subject has given consent to the processing of personal data.   • Data Protection Act article 6 (1), paragraph b, when the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
  • Data Protection Act article 6 (1), paragraph c, when the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which Tillex is subject;
  • Data Protection Act article 6 (1), paragraph f, when the processing is  necessary  for  the  purposes  of  another legitimate interest. The legitimate interest could be improvement of our products, etc.

We process only the required personal data.

We collect, process and store only the personal data acquired to meet our intended purpose. Additionally, it may be decided by law which data is required to collect and store for our operation. The type and extent of the personal data we process may also be required to fulfil a contract or other legal obligation.
